Barbados tourism says approvals are typically issued within seven business days; payment follows approval.

The full 12 months immediately before applying must be spent in Barbados, plus at least five years in total during the seven years before that. The Minister may accept the final continuous year ending up to six months before filing in a special case.

  • A renewable one-year remote-work visa; only years actually lived in Barbados can meet the Citizenship Act’s residence test, and the stamp itself gives no permanent status.
