Residence and work for the approved Danish job, normally up to four years for longer contracts; a new employer requires a new permit.

Who qualifies

  • The job offer must pay at least DKK 552,000 annually at the 2026 level; only guaranteed cash, eligible pension payments and paid holiday allowance count toward the limit.

  • The salary and other employment terms must meet Danish standards, the position must normally be at least 30 hours a week, and the salary must be paid into the worker’s own Danish bank account within the stated timeframe.

Time
Normal SIRI processing time: one month; up to three months when more information is needed.

DKK 6,810 application processing fee in 2026.

If your first permit is issued in 2027 and you keep living there, this is the road.
