An LA-B2 entry visa, followed by a separately requested stay permit card for the approved investment-linked employment; ordinary director and technician stay is no longer than one year at a time under this guidance.

The government’s investment one-stop service lists LA-B2 as the visa for foreign employees and technical officers; its guidance addresses investors, directors, deputy directors and technical staff in approved enterprise activity.

The stay-permit-card documentation distinguishes investors and family entering on NI-B2 from noninvestor directors, deputy directors and technicians entering on LA-B2. The latter group ordinarily receives no more than one year and renews annually.

What it takes.

Time: Eight official working days for LA-B2 entry approval after the one-stop service registers a complete file; labour approval and the later stay card are separate stages.
Cost: LAK 5,000 for the visa form and LAK 1,200,000 for a 12-month multiple-entry visa; work-permit, stay-card and service charges are separate.
The hard part: Obtaining labour authorization and showing that the employer and position fit this investment one-stop process; other employers may use a different channel.
