What it takes.

Time
The issuing authority decides the application after the complete sponsored file and prerequisite approvals are lodged.
Cost
Published extension fees: USD 62 for three months, USD 114 for six months, or USD 217 for one year; registration and other fees are separate.
The hard part
Registered-company sponsorship and an already valid Business Visa in-country.

Usually not: new citizens are asked to give up their other citizenship.
  • Time on this program does not count toward permanent residence or citizenship; the family would need to switch to one that does.
  • The extension may be issued for three months, six months or one year, but the 1982 Citizenship Law has no ordinary years-based naturalisation option for a modern business migrant.
