Ordinary residence in Zimbabwe for ten years before registration, with an intention to continue living there; the President may accept a shorter period in an individual case.

Usually not: new citizens are asked to give up their other citizenship.
  • Lawful student residence is not expressly excluded from the constitutional ten-year ordinary-residence test, but citizenship remains discretionary.
